How We Diagnose the Problem
We check the appliance while it's running so we can see when and where the issue happens. Some issues only happen at certain points in the cycle, like when a washer tries to drain, a dishwasher soap dish doesn't open, or a refrigerator cycles to maintain temperature.
Some problems are straightforward, like a damaged lid switch, a failed heating element, or a broken belt. Some can have several possible causes that lead to the same symptom, like a washer not spinning or a refrigerator not cooling. In those cases, we may use the appliance's diagnostic mode to help narrow down the issue.
Once we know what's causing the issue, we explain what needs to be fixed and if any parts are needed so you know exactly what's being done. Then we go ahead with the repair.
Our Repair Process

Book a Service Call
Give us a call to schedule a visit at a time that works for you. We'll ask a few quick questions about what your appliance is doing so we have an idea of what to check when we arrive.

Diagnosis During the Visit
We go through the appliance to figure out what's causing the issue. Some issues only show up at certain times, so we use the appliance's diagnostic mode to help narrow it down.

Estimate and Approval
Once we know what is causing the issue, we give you a full estimate for parts and labour. No work starts until you approve it, and the service call is waived with the repair.

Repair and Testing
We replace any parts needed and complete the repair. Then we test the appliance to make sure the issue is gone and everything is working before we leave.
Warranty
All completed repairs include a 90-day warranty on parts and labour.
- Coverage applies only to the repair that was done
- If the same issue comes back within 90 days, we return and fix it
- Any parts installed during the repair are included
- Labour for that repair is also included
- If a part needs to be ordered, we come back to install it once it arrives
What We Want Customers to Know
Don't Assume the Worst
Many people assume the most expensive part has failed when an appliance stops working. Quite often, the problem turns out to be something much smaller. It could be a broken switch, a blocked drain, a worn belt, or another part that isn't immediately obvious. Sometimes a replacement part isn't needed at all. That's why we diagnose the appliance before recommending a repair or replacement.
A Quick Video Can Tell Us a Lot
If your appliance is making an unusual noise or showing an error code, a quick photo or video can be surprisingly helpful. Those clues sometimes disappear before we arrive, so being able to see or hear them can make the problem easier to diagnose.
Completed Repairs

Dryer Grinding Noise,
Bearing Replaced
This Frigidaire dryer had a loud grinding sound while it was running.
We started it up and found the noise coming from the bearing. We took it apart, replaced the bearing assembly, and put everything back together. We then ran the dryer again to check it.
It's quiet again and running normally.

Washer Not Spinning,
Stator Replaced
This LG washer was not spinning at all.
We opened it up and found damaged stator windings that were preventing the washer from spinning properly. We replaced the stator and ran it through a cycle to test it.
It's spinning properly again and going through all cycles normally.

Refrigerator Not Cooling,
Fan Motor Replaced
This GE refrigerator stopped cooling and water was pooling in the freezer.
We found the evaporator coils frozen over and the fan motor had stopped working. Without airflow, frost built up and the drain froze over. We replaced the motor and cleared the ice buildup.
It’s cooling again and the leak is gone.
